What is included in a general eye check-up at Kunj Eye Hospital?
A complete check-up usually includes a vision test, measurement of your glasses power, an eye pressure check, an examination of the front of the eye with a slit-lamp microscope and, if needed, a dilated examination of the retina and optic nerve. Read more about eye check-ups and general eye care.
How is cataract surgery performed?
The eye is numbed with drops, the cloudy lens is broken up through a tiny incision using ultrasound (phacoemulsification) and a clear artificial lens is placed. It is usually a day-care procedure, so most patients go home the same day. See cataract surgery at Kunj Eye Hospital.
What are the early signs of glaucoma?
Most people have no symptoms in the early stages. Side vision is usually affected first, which is why regular eye pressure and optic nerve checks are recommended, especially after 40 or with a family history. Learn more about glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.
Do you treat retina-related conditions?
