OCT scan
Optical Coherence Tomography
A painless, non-contact scan that takes a detailed cross-section picture of the retina and optic nerve in a few minutes. It helps detect and track glaucoma, diabetic macular swelling and macular degeneration.
Patient management with the latest equipment: modern diagnostics, imaging and surgical technology from Japan, Germany and the USA, all under one roof.
Tests available
These tests and treatments are done at the hospital. Your doctor will explain which ones you need and why.
Optical Coherence Tomography
A painless, non-contact scan that takes a detailed cross-section picture of the retina and optic nerve in a few minutes. It helps detect and track glaucoma, diabetic macular swelling and macular degeneration.
Ultrasound biometry
Measures the length of your eye with gentle ultrasound. This measurement is essential for calculating the correct lens power before cataract surgery.
Ocular ultrasound
An ultrasound image of the inside of the eye, used when a dense cataract or bleeding blocks the doctor’s view of the retina, for example to check for retinal detachment.
Nd:YAG laser
A quick, painless outpatient laser that clears the hazy membrane that can form behind the lens implant months or years after cataract surgery, restoring clear vision.
Pan-retinal photocoagulation
Laser treatment for advanced diabetic retinopathy and some retinal vein blockages. It stops abnormal blood vessels from growing and lowers the risk of severe vision loss; some patients need more than one session.
Our equipment
Filter by type to see what each machine is used for.
Magnified, detailed examination of the eyelids, cornea, iris and lens, with digital image capture.
Quick computerised estimate of your glasses power.
Measures the curvature of the cornea for lens calculations, astigmatism and contact lenses.
Precise ultrasound measurement of eye length for accurate lens implant power.
Ultrasound measurement of the eye’s length before cataract surgery.
Measures corneal thickness, important in glaucoma and cornea care.
Non-contact, light-based eye measurements for highly accurate lens implant calculations.
Detailed cross-section scans of the retina and optic nerve.
The gold-standard method for measuring eye pressure.
Wide, 3D view of the whole retina, including its outer edges.
Ultrasound cataract removal through a tiny, usually stitch-free incision.
High-magnification, brightly lit view for precise eye surgery.
Maps your side vision to detect and track glaucoma and nerve conditions.
Reads the exact power of your current glasses.
Laser for clearing after-cataract haze (capsulotomy) and for glaucoma iridotomy.
Assesses squint and how both eyes work together, and is used for eye-muscle exercises.
High-resolution photographs of the retina to record and monitor changes.
A dye test that shows blood flow and leakage in the retinal vessels.
